Managing Partner of the firm since 2012.
He began his professional career at the family firm SPB Bufete de Servicios Profesionales, joining Baker&McKenzie Barcelona in 2003, where he worked until 2005, when he embarked on a new career leading the firm Suárez de Vivero until today.
He specialises in litigation, senior management, corporate restructuring and collective bargaining.
He has been a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and the Master’s Degree in Labour Law at ISDE since 2013.
Since 2012, he has been named as a lawyer of recognized prestige in the labour field in the main legal rankings. These publications include Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Who’s Who of the Employment Lawyers, Best Lawyers.

Founding Partner
Founding partner of Suárez de Vivero.
He is a founding partner of Suárez de Vivero. He started working as a lawyer at the Instituto de Especialidades Jurídicas, until 1975, when he founded his own law firm Bufete de Servicios Profesionales SPB.
In 2003 the firm merged with Baker&McKenzie until April 2005, when he separated from that brand, taking over his own firm (Bufete Suárez de Vivero), managed by his son, Iván Suárez.
He is an expert in collective bargaining, mediation and arbitration. He has also authored several legal publications throughout his career.

Previously, he had been head of the Labour Law Area at Toda&Nel-lo, as well as managing partner of the Labour Law Area at Rousaud Costas Duran and head of the Labour Law Area at EY. Previously, he worked at PwC as a senior associate and at Estudio Legal as head of the labour department in Barcelona.

Pilar Albert joined Suárez de Vivero as a partner in April 2018, after an extensive professional career linked to other law firms, working as a lawyer providing legal advice and assistance to companies in labour and HR matters.
She has been a partner at Copa & Asociados (2016-2018), Araoz y Rueda (2012-2016), Director of the Employment Department at Deloitte (2001-2012), Lexalia Abogados (1998-2001), Director of HR at UNED (1993-1998), Director of the Employment Department at Estudio Legal Abogados (1987-1993).
She holds a law degree from the CEU San Pablo University and a Master’s degree in HR from the Instituto de Directivos de Empresa.

Marc Pairó Pujol is a lawyer specializing in global mobility and immigration law. He is currently a partner at ILLAY Legal and Partner at Suárez de Vivero, where he facilitates the relocation of foreign companies to Europe, managing immigration, taxation, and labor law matters.
He has a law degree and a master’s in legal practice from the University of Barcelona, with additional training in the fiscal and labor aspects of expatriates.

Previously, he worked at FERROVIAL SERVICIOS and PROSEGUR as head of labour relations and lawyer.

Senior Associate
Sílvia joined the team in January 2025. She specialises in civil, family, criminal, penitentiary and juvenile law, as well as violence against women and domestic violence. Since 2005 she has worked as a public defender in the criminal, civil, family and juvenile jurisdictions, as well as a legal counsellor at the Sant Feliu Bar Association and at the Brians I and II Penitentiary Centres. She has also worked as a mediator in the Mortgage Debt Intermediation Service of the Sant Feliu de Llobregat Town Council.
She holds a degree in Law from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (1999-2003) and a degree in Philosophy from the Universitat de Barcelona (2016-2022). She completed the Master’s Degree in Mediation at the CICAC (2020-2021), being awarded the ADR Justice 2022 Prize for the best Master’s Degree Final Project in Mediation.
She has held representative positions in the field of young lawyers, such as Secretary of Joves Advocacia de Catalunya (2007-2008), Secretary of the Spanish Confederation of Young Lawyers (2010-2012) and young member of the Ethics Committee of the General Council of Spanish Lawyers (2010-2012).

Pau Otero Gabaldà graduated in 2020 with a degree in Law and Labour Relations from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He also completed an Erasmus at the University of Lund (Sweden). He has completed the Master of Access to Law at the Barcelona School of Management in 2021 and has been admitted as a practising lawyer at the Barcelona Bar Association.
As work experience, Pau has worked as a recruiter at PricewaterHouseCoopers, has completed his legal internship at Cuatrecasas, has been a junior lawyer at Cuatrecasas, and has worked as an associate lawyer at AGM Abogados. Since September 2023 he has been working at Suarez de Vivero.
In addition, Pau has collaborated in the publication ‘El Estatuto de los Trabajadores Comentado y con Jurisprudencia de la editorial La Ley (4th Edition)’ and since October 2024 he has been a substitute lecturer in the subject of Social Security II in the degree of Labour Relations at the University of Barcelona.

Georgina García joined the firm in March 2025. She is a lawyer specializing in labour law, with experience in renowned law firms such as Uría Menéndez and Sagardoy Abogados. She has developed her practice in the field of employment consulting for national and international companies, including legal representation in court proceedings, drafting pleadings in response to infringement notices, and conciliation proceedings.
He has also managed dismissal procedures, advised on the development and implementation of equality plans, carried out due diligence processes, and participated in the drafting and review of employment contracts.
Education: Law degree from Abat Oliba CEU University, where she also completed a Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession. She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).
